A New Day

Well, all I can say is that today is a new day. Yesterday at work was kind of stressful at work. So I was very happy to go to the Dr. to get my back therapy (due to being rear ended by a drunk driver a couple weeks ago). Anyway, I get there and I get in "trouble" from the dr because my blood pressure is so high. I told him it was due to the child and 20 year old mother and her friend in the waiting room that were yelling at each other and the kids toys were all in the floor so that no one could get through. Uggh, I just got very frustrated. I was trying to read and I couldn't even concentrate. There were 3 "adults" (probably not even 22 years old) and 2 children to take one little boy to the dr. Arghh. Sorry I just got so angry.

So I went to dinner with my family and inlaws. Had a great time. Then got to go home and chase my little one year old around and play for awhile. That was fun....and went to bed....fell asleep before Law and Order was over though darn it. Then my WONDERFUL husband came home early so at 1 AM I get woken up by the alarm. So now I'm awake..... I guess I should clarify...my husband is a police officer and works the graveyard shift. 9PM -7AM So I'm not prepared for when he comes home early. Then he came to bed about 3AM knowing he wasn't gonna be able to fall asleep. So I just didn't get a lot of rest last night. But thankfully I'm leaving work early today so will be able to get some stuff done.

So things at work are going a lot better today. Actually not a lot to do. Just sitting her drinking some water before I go to my Weight Watcher meeting at noon.

Ok, I think I'm gonna run now. Gonna try and chat with some of my other "mommy friends" before heading off to lunch and meeting.
Check back later.

First Attempt

Well, I'm making an attempt at this...I've never really kept a journal before...but I enjoy reading others so I thought I'd give this a whirl.
Let's see. Guess I'll introduce myself. I'm going to be 33 years old next month and the mother of a 13 month old. Every day is new and exciting at our house. I've been married for 2 1/2 years to a wonderful man. We've been together since Christmas Day 1997. I work full time and our little girl stays with my MIL on the days that my husband works. He's a police officer so he works 8 days on and 6 days off. So the days he's off and I'm working he keeps her. They have so much fun together. And I am so thankful that since I do have to work that she gets to stay with Grandma and Daddy instead of daycare.
Well, see now I already don't have much to say....don't lead a very exciting life unless you classify answering phones and picking up fruit loops off of the floor at home exciting.
Ok, I'll try to think of more to write later.
